Balance Sheet- This basic financial statement discloses the assets, liabilities and equity of the Town. In simpler terms, it tells: How much the Town owns, How much the Town owes and How much is left over.  Receipts & Disbursements- This statement is a financial presentation summarizing the Town's cash transactions for a given point in time. Many have learned to identify this kind of statement as the Income Statement.
