Welcome to the homepage of the Town of Ithaca's Transportation Plan!

The Town of Ithaca is located in Tompkins County, New York, home to Ithaca College and Cornell University.  Ithaca is a lively, cultured, beautiful place to live.  Like most small communities, Ithaca is facing transportation challenges as development continues.

The Town of Ithaca is addressing transportation issues through the
Town of Ithaca Transportation Plan adopted by the Town Board on July 9, 2007:

a collaborative effort between Town planning staff, elected officials, and community members to examine transportation problems in the Town and region and to devise creative, cost-effective solutions that will protect our community and its future!

This website is your portal to the Plan:

You can read the document itself and study the accompanying data.  Contact us to discuss transportation issues that matter to you.
